As we wrap up the ever-exciting 2012 school year, I am amazedly our progress this year. We added many new members to Caring Caps, and grew like never before! We went from 150 hats to 350 hats in one year! That's crazy! Just this past week, I had the awesome opportunity to talk to my county's school board about Caring Caps and its accomplishments. Come to Caring Caps upcoming event, H2O! Formally called Hope 2 Others, this event will showcase the man who delivers many of our hats, Joe Hurston! He will be speaking as a part of the event and will interact with some of the knitters. H2O is taking place on Friday, April 20th at 3:45-5:00 PM. Come out and support Caring Caps! So, this upcoming Friday (the 9th) we have a meeting. The theme is Idea Extravaganza, as we will be discussing so major decisions for next year. Some other topics of the meeting include: future fundraisers, the Love Revolution, and how we can improve Caring Caps. Please, please come! Breakfast will be provided. As some of you know, Caring Caps is selling t-shirts! They are available for $10 (in standard adult sizes). We will be placing the order on Friday, January 27th, so if you would like to buy one, buy a shirt soon!
